Infinium Launches Infinium Edge™ Immersion Cooling Platform for High-Density AI Data Centers

SACRAMENTO, California —Infinium Edge™ is a next-generation platform that extends Infinium’s expertise in energy, chemistry, and systems engineering into high-density artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) data centers.

As AI workloads continue to drive unprecedented compute intensity, cooling has become one of the defining constraints on performance, efficiency, and scalability. With Infinium Edge™, we’re applying the same scientific rigor and manufacturing discipline behind our energy solutions to address thermal challenges at the infrastructure level with immersion cooling.

Immersion Cooling, Engineered for AI Scale

Immersion cooling is a method of cooling electronic equipment by submerging it directly in a special non-conductive liquid instead of using air and fans or complex direct-to-chip cooling. At the core of Infinium Edge™ are Infinium Immersion Fluids, proprietary dielectric fluids engineered to remove heat directly at the source by fully submerging IT hardware.

Unlike conventional air-based systems, immersion cooling enables:

• Higher rack power densities required for advanced AI and GPU-accelerated workloads

• Improved energy efficiency and thermal stability

• Reduced infrastructure complexity and water usage

This approach allows data center operators to scale compute performance and adopt the latest chip technology while maintaining reliability in increasingly dense environments.

Extending Infinium from Energy to Edge

Infinium Edge™ reflects our expansion beyond fuels into the infrastructure that powers modern compute. The Edge platform leverages synthetic fuel and product production at our energy sites to create a new fluid specifically engineered for liquid immersion cooling. When produced at Infinium’s eFuel facilities, these carbon-negative fluids enable data center deployments with a significantly smaller carbon footprint.

“Cooling has become one of the defining constraints on deploying state-of-the-art AI infrastructure,” said Robert Schuetzle, CEO of Infinium. “Infinium Edge applies our deep expertise in chemistry and scalable manufacturing to unlock a more efficient path forward for high-density AI data centers.”

Designed to support high-density AI data center environments, Infinium Edge™ brings Infinium’s systems-level approach to one of the fastest-growing segments of digital infrastructure.

Infinium Edge™ builds on Infinium’s broader platform of transforming energy and infrastructure systems through advanced chemistry and engineering, addressing how the world powers, moves, and increasingly, computes.
